As we wrap up Week 1 of the New Year More Confidence Challenge, I want to remind you of something important:
Do not give up.
Even if this week was hard.
Even if you didn’t hit every goal perfectly.
Even if life showed up and threw you off a little.
Doing what you CAN do still counts. Progress is not about perfection — it’s about showing up again after the hard days.
Your journey is YOURS.
Your pace is YOURS.
Your path will not look like anyone else’s — and that’s okay.
Please don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 10. We all fall down sometimes… but the power is in getting back up.
Week 1 Challenge Reminders & Tips
One “Salad” a Day
Remember — a salad does NOT always mean lettuce!
Be creative:
Cucumber, tomato, onion, feta + grilled protein
Chickpea salad with peppers, cucumbers, olive oil & lemon
Fruit salad with berries, apples, and nuts
Tuna or chicken salad over mixed veggies
The goal is balance, nutrients, and intention — not restriction.
10K Steps a Day
If 10K feels like a lot, break it up:
Morning walk
Steps during work
Evening stroll
Steps add up — movement matters.
30 Minutes of Cardio
This can be:
A ConFITdance class
A walk, bike ride, or treadmill
Dancing in your living room
It all counts.
No Alcohol
You’re doing this for clarity, confidence, and discipline.
If you slipped — don’t quit. Reset and keep going.
A Gentle Reminder
Some weeks you’ll be on fire.
Some weeks you’ll be surviving.
Both are part of the journey.
Be proud of yourself for starting.
Be proud of yourself for trying.
And be proud of yourself for continuing — even when it’s hard.
We may fall down… but we always get back up.
